The Energy Point Locator

A note to acupuncturists... I have given some of the points herein different names than their traditional acupuncture names. This is to facilitate understanding for all the non-acupuncturists in the world. Please don't let these names matter. The points still work.

LV-3  

The Liver Serenity Point

The best way to locate this point is to feel between the bone of the big toe and the toe next to it. Put your finger directly in the webbing formed between these two bones. Then slide your finger toward the ankle. The point is found just before the place where the two bones come together.

GB-41 This point is found by locating the bones of the small toe and the toe next to it. Put your finger directly in the webbing formed between those two bones. Then slide your finger toward the ankle. The points is found just before the place where the two bones come together.
PC-6 This point is located on the opposite side of the wrist from TB-5. It is located on the wrist on the palmar side. It is two thumb widths toward the elbow from the crease formed when the wrist is bent.

The Heart Peacefulness Location

This point is found easily. Look at the picture for PC-6. Move toward the hand from PC-6 until you reach the crease of the wrist. That is the PC-7 location

TB-5 This point is located near the wrist on the side of the arm opposite the palm. It is located in the middle of the wrist and two thumb widths toward the elbos from the crease formed when the wrist is bent. This point is on the opposite side of the wrist from PC-6.
SP-4 Look closely at the inside of the foot. You will notice a difference in the shade of color between the top of your foot and the bottom of the foot. The point lies on the line where these colors change. To find the exact location feel along this line beginning behind the major protuberance to the side of the big toe. Keep moving toward the back of the foot until you feel the depression just before you feel the bump from another bone. The point should be roughly half way between the big toe and the ankle.
SP-6 The Spleen/Pancreas Power Location

This point is easily found on the inside lower leg. It is the width of four fingers directly above the ankle bone.

 

ST-36 The Stomach Turbocharger Point

This point can be found by placing the hand at the lower border of the kneecap. The distance down from the kneecap is the with of your four fingers. Then move the distance of one thumb width toward the outside of your leg from the shin bone.

LU-1 The Lung Turbocharger Point

This point is easily found by feeling directly under the collar bone and moving toward the shoulder until you can go no further because you are blocked by the joint of the shoulder. Once you have found that spot move down about one inch.

 

LU-7 This point is located on the thumb side of the wrist. It is the width of the index and middle fingers toward the elbow from the crease formed when the wrist is bent. The point is not exactly on the side of the wrist, but a bit toward the palmar side.
LI-4 This point can be found easily by holding the thumb next to the index finger. You will see a rise of flesh between the thumb and index finger near the base of the thumb. The point is located where this rise is greatest.
KI-3 The Kidney Power Point

Located on the inside of the foot in the depression directly behind the ankle bone and in front of the Achilles tendon.

KI-6 This point is located in the depression directly under the ankle bone on the inside of the foot.
BL-62 Located on the outside of the foot in the depression directly behind the ankle bone and in front of the Achilles tendon.
SI-3 The easiest way to find this point is to look at the side of the hand at the small finger. Make a loose fist and you will see a crease that forms at the base of the small finger. The point is in this crease on the line where the color of the top of the hand meets the color of the palm of the hand.
